Our Pitches – Small, Practical & Well Thought Out

Our pitches may be small, but they are carefully planned and offer everything you need for a pleasant and uncomplicated stay. The pitches range from approximately 30 to 70 m² and are deliberately kept compact and functional. Depending on the area, we offer both designated pitches and open, non-parcelled pitches. Our pitches feature a combination of grass and gravel areas and are suitable for vehicles up to 8 metres in length.

Grass & Gravel – Suitable for Every Season

The combination of grass and gravel is a deliberate choice and has proven itself over the years. The gravel provides a stable, weather-resistant surface and is particularly important due to our winter operation. Snow, frost, thawing and moisture would put considerable strain on pure grass surfaces during the winter and can quickly turn them into soft, muddy areas, especially in spring.

The gravel also has its advantages in summer: in rainy weather, it remains more stable and cleaner and is less likely to become soft or muddy. This is particularly practical and comfortable for guests travelling with tents.

An Important Note for Our Tent Guests

If you are travelling with a tent, we would like to give you a little information before booking: Our pitches are not exclusively grass pitches. They deliberately consist of a combination of grass and gravel.

A pure grass pitch may naturally look beautiful when you arrive. However, with regular use by tents, awnings and vehicles, the grass can become heavily worn within just a few weeks. Especially in wet weather, a once beautiful grass area can quickly become worn, with bare soil or muddy patches.

For this reason, we are unable to offer permanently green, pure grass pitches. If you are specifically looking for a traditional camping pitch with a permanently lush green lawn for your tent, our campsite may not be the right choice for you. We prefer to be open about this before booking, so that you know exactly what to expect and can choose a campsite that suits your preferences.

Your Pitch Preferences

We are always happy to take your pitch preferences when you make your booking. If, for example, you would prefer a pitch with more grass or one with more gravel, simply let us know when making your reservation. We will be happy to take your wishes into account whenever possible, depending on availability.

Please understand that we cannot always guarantee the exact proportion of grass and gravel. Especially throughout the summer, grass areas can change depending on weather conditions and how they are used – even if a pitch still has a beautiful grassy area when you arrive.

The photos on our website show different pitches and give you a good impression of the various areas and surfaces.

All pitches have a 10-amp electricity connection. Drinking water taps are located at various points throughout the campsite. A grey water disposal point is available and suitable for vehicles with a side outlet (limited availability in winter).

Pitches Directly by the Main Building

We also have pitches directly next to the main building. These pitches are not parcelled, have a gravel surface and electricity connection, and are particularly conveniently located – close to the sanitary facilities, ski storage and drying room. They are ideal for guests who appreciate short distances. These pitches are only reserved upon request.

Pitch Allocation & Choosing Your Pitch

The allocation and size of each pitch is determined individually by us, taking into account your vehicle, caravan, motorhome or tent. This allows us to make the best possible use of each pitch while taking your wishes into consideration.
