The Arlberg – nature at its most beautiful.

Nestled in the majestic Alpine landscape of West Tyrol lies the region around the Arlberg – a paradise for nature lovers, active holidaymakers and those seeking peace and quiet. Whether in summer or winter, the mountains around Pettneu, St. Anton and Lech unfold their own unique magic in every season.

Wide alpine meadows, crystal-clear mountain streams, quiet forests and imposing peaks characterise the landscape – ideal for long hikes, leisurely walks or sporting challenges. More than 300 kilometres of marked hiking and mountain trails are available – including family-friendly routes such as to the Malfonalm or around the Verwallsee, but also challenging day tours in high alpine terrain.

A special bonus for our guests: many of the mountain railways – such as the Galzigbahn or Rendlbahn – also carry dogs (with a leash and muzzle). This means you can comfortably reach the heights with your four-legged friend and enjoy unforgettable panoramic views.

Mountain bikers, climbing enthusiasts and trail runners will also find ideal conditions in the Arlberg region – as will connoisseurs who appreciate the rustic hut culture and regional specialities.

In winter, the region transforms into a world-famous ski area with over 300 kilometres of slopes – yet Pettneu remains a quiet retreat, far away from the hustle and bustle.

If you are travelling with your dog, you will find ideal conditions here: shady hiking trails, numerous watering holes and dog-friendly infrastructure ensure that both two-legged and four-legged friends feel equally at home. Streams and the Rosanna river in the immediate vicinity are ideal for spontaneous cooling off. A vet and optional dog care are also available in the region.

What our guests say

"Great campsite with very friendly hosts! Very good facilities, such as individual bathrooms, breakfast room, kitchen, drying room, and ski storage.
As a special service, you will receive a voucher for the ski depot at Sport Alber in St. Anton, which is very convenient.
The ski bus stops "almost" in front of the door and runs every 15 minutes."
